Our state-of-the-art facilities allow for both athletic development and recovery to be at the forefront of what we do.
Our performance gym has been fitted with a range of industry leading Eleiko equipment to ensure our athletes have the ultimate training experience. With access to VBT (velocity-based training) equipment, flywheel technology and specialist testing equipment (Optojump & Pasco Force Plates) our coaches use a range of innovative and scientific based protocols that help to guarantee precision in our approach to athletic development.
Our Cryo:one+ electric cryotherapy chamber delivers whole-body cold therapy. The process involves whole body exposure to extremely cold dry air (-80 °C) for short periods of time (3 minutes). During the experience individuals wear minimal clothing, gloves, a woollen headband covering the ears a face mask and socks to reduce any risk of cold-related injuries. Research has suggested that cryotherapy can help to reduce inflammation and enhance recovery following exercise.
The environmental chamber replicates the climate of the world, with temperatures ranging from 12 degrees to 40 degrees Celsius, humidity levels of 1-99% and altitudes of up to 5000m above sea level. By training with less oxygen availability, the body must become more efficient with what is available. The main benefits of altitude training have been linked to both performance and health improvement. Whether you are preparing to climb Kilimanjaro or are looking to increase sport specific endurance and speed, altitude training is used to illicit a range of benefits for athletes of all abilities.
